Serving all of Massachusetts

Local marketing, done for you.

Monthly marketing for Massachusetts service businesses, from landscaping, HVAC and plumbing to law, accounting and insurance offices. Your Google listing, reviews, email newsletter and social posts get handled every month, and nothing goes out until you approve it.

  • $500/month
  • Month-to-month, no long contract
  • You approve everything

Sound familiar?

You're busy running the business. Marketing keeps slipping.

The work is good and the customers are happy. But after a full day on the job, nobody has time to post on Google, chase reviews or write a newsletter.

Your Google listing has gone quiet

No new posts or photos in months. When people search for what you do, your listing looks like nobody's minding it.

Happy customers, few reviews

Customers would leave a review if someone asked at the right moment. Usually nobody does, so competitors with more reviews look like the safer choice.

Email and social fall off the list

You have a customer list and a Facebook page, but neither gets used. Past customers forget about you between jobs.

What you get each month

One simple monthly package

The work that keeps a local business visible, done for you every month.

Google Business Profile posts

About one a week, so your listing stays active and up to date when people find you on Google Search and Maps.

Review requests after every job

Set up around how you already work: ready-made texts and emails with your review link, so asking takes seconds.

Email newsletter

One newsletter a month to your customer list, so past customers remember you when they need you again or someone asks for a referral.

Social posts

On Facebook and/or Instagram, or on LinkedIn for professional offices.

You approve everything before it goes out. Nothing gets posted or sent in your name until you've seen it and said yes.

How it works

Four steps, very little of your time

  1. Free review

We start with a free look at your Google listing and current marketing, and talk through what you're working with.

  2. Plan

A simple monthly plan built around your business, your season and the way you already work.

  3. You approve

You see the posts, the newsletter and the review messages first. Approve them or ask for changes.

  4. We post

Everything goes out on schedule, every month, while you get back to work.

About

Hi, I'm Kevin Morris

I live in Marshfield and run a local small business here myself, so I know what busy owners deal with.

Based on the South Shore, working with businesses across Massachusetts.

Marketing is the thing that always gets pushed to "next week." I started Minot Ledge Marketing to take it off owners' plates. I handle the steady, unglamorous work that keeps a local business visible: Google posts, review requests, a newsletter and social posts. You run your business and approve things when they're ready.

The name comes from Minot's Ledge Light, the lighthouse off Cohasset and Scituate. It's been keeping a steady light on the South Shore since 1860, and that's the idea here too: show up consistently, so the right people find you.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I have to give you my passwords?

No. You never share passwords. You add Kevin as a manager on your Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram or website using each platform's own access settings, and you can remove that access anytime.

Is there a contract?

No long contract. It's month-to-month at $500/month. Founding clients pay $300/month for the first 4 months, then $500, and it's still month-to-month.

What if I don't have Facebook (or Instagram)?

That's fine. If you don't have a Facebook business page yet, Kevin can set one up for you as a one-time add-on. The 4 monthly social posts can go on Facebook, Instagram or both, or on LinkedIn for professional offices. We'll put them where your customers actually are, and we can talk about which one makes sense on your free call.

Do I approve the posts before they go out?

Yes, every time. Posts, the newsletter and review request messages are all sent to you first. Nothing goes out in your name until you approve it.

Will this help me show up in "near me" searches?

It can help, but nobody can honestly guarantee rankings, and we won't. Google decides local results itself, based on how relevant your business is to the search, how far you are from the person searching and how well known your business is. We can't change distance.

What we can do is the work that's in your control: keep your Google listing complete and active, and keep reviews coming in steadily. Those things tend to help over time and make a better impression when people find you.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Small Massachusetts service businesses that don't have time to do their own marketing. That includes home services and trades like landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning and remodeling, plus local offices like law, accounting, insurance and real estate. If your customers find you on Google and you rely on reviews and referrals, it's probably a good fit.

What area do you serve?

All of Massachusetts. Kevin is based on the South Shore, in Marshfield, and works with businesses across the state. If you're not sure whether you're a fit, just ask.
